FOREST TRAILS

The forest can provide so much; shade on a hot day, respite from rain on a wet day, and a beautiful scene on a snowy day.  Forest trails are trails that wind through forested areas, following the contour of the land and avoiding the thick tree trunks.  Forest trails rarely follow a straight line, weaving in and out. Forest trails are usually unpaved, using natural resources; bare ground, fine gravel, or mulch to define the pathway.  Forest trails can be as rugged as the terrain.
