MADISON COUNTY

Madison County is home to Anderson, part of the Indianapolis-Carmel-Anderson Metropolitan Statistical Area.  Madison County is home to Red Gold, one of the largest tomato processors in the nation, and a company that many Hoosiers hold in high regard.  Madison County is home to Mounds State Park. Madison County has a rich history of automobile manufacturing going back into the early 1900s, including manufacturers such as DeTamble, Lambert, Laurel, Nyberg, Real Cyclecar, and Rider-Lewis.  The White River traverses Madison County from east to west. Madison County is home to many trails and routes.
